Meet Mrs. Baringer

I love being the media specialist at Hickory Hills! I love to read, garden, and bird watch. My husband and I have two sons and a fluffy Bichon dog named Skadi.

Our older son lives in Boulder, Colorado, where he works in a physics lab and goes on outdoor adventures in his spare time. Our younger son graduated from the University of Georgia recently, and now is serving in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Georgia. They both love to ski, hike, and mountain climb.

In 2014, my husband and I moved to Smyrna from Maryland, where I was the media specialist for ten years. We're originally from New Orleans, and are pleased to be a bit closer to our relatives there, including several of my eight siblings.
